Nowhere Man?

When I was still in college, there was a time when I wanted to go away. I didn't. With time, the urge eased up and faded away. But, clearly, it didn't quite die. It's back and, I can tell, it's more than a mere flirtation. I still want to go away, leave. But, as the op-ed piece in this morning's newspaper asks, leave what...for where?

A pretty decent question to ask, innit? For where? :-/

Besides, the point is, is there anywhere to go?

As you have ruined your life here
in this little corner, you have destroyed it in the whole world.'

- WHERE is the solution here? :-)

Thank god they turned down this fella's application for motivational speaker!

hehe, the point is that you can't run away from yourself. therefore, the solution too lies within you. trust me on this one... it's true :)

I wasn't talking about running away, either from myself or anybody else, but about leaving. About going away. But, to repeat myself, the point is where does one go? Nowhere is far enough :-)

how different is the desire to 'go away' from 'running away'? sounds to be like just the speed.. :)

Aw, crap! I was hoping you wouldn't notice that :-)

Yeah, it's about exiting the scene...except, the problem is that the stage remains the same.

indeed. leave what? and for what? the itch to start afresh. it is, apparently, every where and ever present, and insatiable. i sometimes wonder if it is the lure of the trhill of beginnings, or repulsion of the stifling stillness of middles
